Dear Friends, 

April and May had many things happening both at the store and at home. June was also a 
busy month since we were at San Antonio Texas for the Husqvarna Viking Convention. 
The new “Jewel” Sewing Machine was introduced on June 15th. For more information, check 
out the Husqvarna Viking web site link above. We have had the new machine in the store 
as of June 25th and we’ve since held the unveiling party that evening. There will be 
another unveiling later in August.

PFAFF In Store Specials Right Now Include: 

The PFAFF Classic Style Fashion 2023 - 2 left - once they’re gone,they’re gone! This 
machine has 29 stitches, the famous PFAFF IDT sensomatic button holes, and needle 
threader with half tap on the foot control to put needle in down position.

Also included is The PFAFF 2048 Quilt Expression – we have a limited number still at the 
spring flyer price which includes the Quilter’s Tool Box. If you have been dreaming about

The Creative “C” Spring Event 

This was a great success. We had more entries than we ever had before,especially in the 
quilted wall hanging category. Next year we will have 2 quilting categories. A big thank 
you is extended to everyone who brought in entries. The store looked great with all the 
walls covered. Thank you again. 

We are thinking of doing a “What I Did Over The Summer Display” in mid-September, so 
while you are enjoying the summer don’t forget to work on a project or two (great on 
those rainy days).

We finally had to say good-bye to our favorite Bird Quilt. We drew the winner on April
27th and raised $1347 for Cancer Care Manitoba. A big thank-you is extended to everyone 
who bought and sold tickets. We couldn’t have done it without your support. 

New Notions in Store. 

Remember the old saying what’s old is now new again - the newest old thing is YO-YOS Maker.
They come in various shapes (Circle, Heart and Flower) and sizes. They make YO-YOS making 
so easy and are great for travelling or while watching TV. Even the young child will find 
the YO-YOS Maker easy to use. Jane went on a road trip and was able to do bagfuls of them. 
If you check the internet there are numerous projects from quilts to table runners and even 
curtains and clothing.
