Carellan caries the following notion lines, CLOVER, DRITZ, and Olfa. "Ott" lights are now at CARELLAN. THREADS Because we like to do machine embroidery, CARELLAN has a wide selection of threads. We carry threads by SULKY , YLI, MADEIRA, J & P COATS and WONDERFIL. In WONDERFIL we have new kits for Hallowe'en and Christmas as well as new varigated colours on large spools. Sulky as the Blendables in 100% cotton in 12 wt and 30wt. Wooden thread racks, designed in Winnipeg, are available in a variety of sizes to hang on the wall or free standing. FABRICS In keeping with our preference for quality, CARELLAN carries some excellent fabrics. Lingerie fabrics are available, as well as fabric and notions for making your own bra. Heirloom fabric, French cotton laces, Swiss embroideries, Entredeux and Battenberg tape are to be found on our shelves or squirrelled away for the asking. We have a number of different interfacings and a wide variety of stabilizers for your next special project. The best selection of interfacings for tailoring are available. BOOKS We believe that CARELLAN SEWING CENTRE has the largest selection of sewing title books to be found in the province of Manitoba. There are even a few quilting titles. We have beginner books, children’s books, fitting books, sewing business books, books on colours, upholstery, home decorating, pattern drafting, etc., etc. We carry the new Pfaff Creative magazine and Husqvarna's ZigZag magazine. A number of our books now deal with PFaff and Husqvarna Viking Embroidery software programs. PATTERNS CARELLAN is the only retailer in Winnipeg with STRETCH & SEW patterns. We also carry KWIK SEW . Those patterns by Jalie, Green Pepper, and Suitability can be found on our shelves. Also patterns for speciality sewing and quilting projects such as stained glass, Fasturn Tube bias Projects, cut work, etc. SEWING FURNITURE CARELLAN SEWING CENTRE carries a custom built, made in Manitoba Butterfly or Drop-leaf cutting table. Sewing machine and serger cabinets by SYLVIA DESIGN and Horn Of America cabinets are available. Our newest item of furniture is a Sewing Chair on casters with an air lift for adjusting height.
Decorative threads for the serger are part of our collection, too. See us before you start your next project. Solar thread and Glow in the Dark thread are the newest items on the market. We have just added "Wonder Threads" Speciality color packages to our line. "Halo" and "Holo Shimmer" are 2 new, exciting threads. We have more special quilting cotton threads.
